Suzuki GT750L "Kettle"
By re-zinc plating original fasteners and using a much of the original chrome parts as possible, we have done our utmost to keep this classic Suzuki as original as possible.
The engine was stripped and fully rebuilt, new pistons and rings, a re-bore and full crank re-build to go with the aqua blasted crank cases and polished outer covers along with seal, bearing and a gasket set etc.
With the frame, swing arm, yolks and stands powder coated, the bodywork re-painted and wheels re-spoked, the build could start!
From receiving all the refurbished components it took just a few weeks to get the bike 90% completed. we were delayed only by the re-chroming of the silencers.
The original ‘Flake’ blue colour scheme looks a little 70’s and the customer wanted the later metallic colour so we opted to keep the std pinstripes with the later 'Maui' blue. With its gleaming bright work, I’m sure you’ll agree it look’s stunning.
